I miss you everyday....

Exactly 20 years when Great Grandma M. (his mom) passed away. I wish you didn't have to go Dad (he is actually my Grandpa). I guess God had plans for you. I miss talking to you and sometimes our little tiffs we had because we are both hard headed, i also miss your advices. Amelia misses you so we show her pictures of you and Tom's mom to her all the time. I missed having you over the past holidays and I know mom gets sad since you're not around to keep her company all the time and go to the movies with her. It was so hard for me to see in the hospital hooked up to machines. I regret not seeing you when you were awake. But you were there for a couple days for your knee, and they told you get to go that friday so mom told me to just see you when you got home. You didnt get to come home that day. Mom got a call from the hospital saying you stopped breathing and they had to revive you. that you were awake in the middle of the night talking to the nurses and joking around and vitals were good. after they left the room and came back later they found you.... you were on life support and they said to wait it out and theyll keep checking to see if you breath on your own or have any brain activity. Nothing... On Sunday August 21st, 2011 the doctors pronounced you dead. I swear we saw you have a tear come out of your eye when Tia and I were talking to you. To me it had to be a response from you saying everything is going to be ok. I couldnt sleep for the life of me that stormy Thursday night/ Friday early morning. Something kept telling me something was wrong but i couldn't pin point what it was. until i got a call from mom that night. I MISS YOU SO MUCH! I LOVE YOU! I wish you were here with us in person but i know you are with us in heart and spirit.
This is something I needed to write. Been meaning to, just been keeping it to myself ad crying at times when thinking of you.

ARG i'm a pirate!

So much has changed. Amelia is 14 months, 1 week and 1 day old today. Walking, babbling (says some words), laughing, funny, spoiled little girl. lol. She loves music, a song is on she is either trying to sing along, dancing or trying to make music with them. Maybe she'll enjoy music and teach music like her grandmother (Tom's mom.) I am sure she is looking down and smiling at Amelia and proud of her.
We are still thinking about day care for her so she can make friends and learn to share with kids her age. she is so used to older cousins giving up toys to her and letting her get away with it.
Shes the baby out of the cousins. the kids are 4 to 19 yrs. she mostly sees two of her cousins which are D and A. Mary either takes her to watch her if we are busy working. D and A love Amelia. hahaha Amelia loves them and gets excited when they come around.
Our 6 yr Wedding Anniversary is coming up Saturday. Not sure what we are doing. Tomorrow it'll be 11 years together.
The 8th Ruthie and Richard are finally getting married. so we are planning and getting things together.
I'm hosting a Party Lite Party on the 23rd....Just one busy month of October. I need to get all 3 of us thr the Red Barn to pick out pumpkins and get a fall photo of Amelia with the pumpkins or something. maybe a family photo. we'll see, Tom has been working every night at his 2nd job and only nights he usually gets off is Th & Fri nights to watch Amelia while I go to my 2nd job. Yeah I started working back at the bar in the legends 14 theatre again.
I would keep updating this but my little munchkin is terrorizing the office and throwing everything around.

Amelia Rosalie

Wow i haven't posted here almost a year ago. A lot has happened. Became pregnant in Nov. '09 had our daughter Amelia on July 19th, 2010 (2 weeks early) by Cesarean since she was breeched and low fluid. She amazes me everyday. 6lbs 3oz and 18 inches long @ 8:04am..
She just turned 3 months yesterday. She loves cooing/babbling to you, smiles so big and laughs, she has to be moving around all the time or she gets unhappy. I miss my little lazy munchkin who used to like lying in your arms sleeping or not do anything. i have a feeling once she learns to crawl and walk she'll be into everything. she hates tummy time. she tries to fight sleep all the time so she can be around and in the crowd seeing and flirting with everyone around her so she'll start getting fussy and rubbing her eyes. she is so beautiful. i love staring and cuddling with her. she finally started turning over and now trying to flip herself on her stomach. (lol watch one day she'll get it and scream bloody murder because shes on her stomach that she hates being on)
she loves her Lion, zebra and giraffe stuff toys. so im sure she'll love the zoo in the spring/summer when i take her since she'll be a little older. I'm sure i am forgetting something that she can do already. hmmm...
i'm proud to be her mother and love watching her grow and learn new things.... i wish she could stay little like she was when she was born. but they have to grown up.
well I better get back to work, i took a break. shes asleep in her swing right now so we'll see how long that last. =)

So much to do right now. I feel like we spent a ton of money this money. Didnt help buying christmas presents, house taxes, car insurance, a new washer machine since our old one was almost done. needed new parts and we decided not to bother and just get a new one. Someday we'll get our new dryer we ordered... We really need to finish that bedroom, really need to finish 2 but 1 is enough and move back in it and fix up the other one again.
Thinking how we are going to have family gatherings at our house too. not enough room. so much to think about. probably going to move someday when the house is done. we will need a bigger place to hold more people. Just gotta figure out how we are going to afford it. i think we can. but i shouldnt worry about that now. its not the time or place to. we'll get to that point in our lives later on.

I need to send thank you notes to my dad and step mom and also my grand parents for the money they sent for christmas.

I had fun last night, Mary called Tom and I to see if we wanted to go with her to meet up with Monica in overland park to go out to eat. food was good, kids are funny, and its nice seeing Monica since she lives in D.C. area.
Tom wanted to ride back with Moni so we did and talked..went out to the farm and played a board game. beat both of them. came home and went to bed.

I hope Ben doesnt need me to come in tonight. I am supposed to be off, but we'll see about that. I have so much to do. like go to sam's club and get things for the house, drop of gifts to friends, clean the house, not sure if tom wanted to do lunch at our house for my parents on christmas eve. idk. like i said I hope I dont have to go in tonight.
